I can prepare a print of any of the images in any of the website portfolios.

Printing, mounting and framing have always traditionally been the final stages in the process of photography. The endgame for every worthwhile photograph is for it to be viewed as a print. It is a shame therefore that, in our screen-obsessed twenty-first century culture, very few images are committed to print any more. Most are destined to be swiped away after a transitory instant of forgettiing on a tiny telephone...

A framed print brings the moment and the mood of the photograph to life. Viewing the image by reflected light, rather than by the incandescent light of a screen, gives it a reality and a vitality that cannot be replicated on a computer monitor, telephone or tablet.

All my prints are in a limited edition run of ten units and ship with a certificate of provenance and authenticity.

Please note: prints are not made directly from the website gallery files, all of which are displayed in a reduced resolution for the internet and have been compressed for online use only. Any imperfection or digital artifact you may spot in a web page image will not be apparent on a print.

The printing and mounting processes use entirely conservation grade, acid-free materials throughout. The paper is museum quality Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl or Fuji Crystal and the inks are certified two hundred year lifespan pigment-based giclees.

Images can be laminated (Fuji paper only) bonded to lightweight art-board and left unmounted. They can also be mounted and framed in the traditional way and, depending on finish, either be glazed or left without glass.

I also use a properly groovy process that fixes the image to aluminium di-bond and seals it behind acetate (Fuji paper only) for a frame-less, contemporary finish.

Once you have decided and placed your order, I personally supervise the entire printing and dispatch process, liaising directly with a diligent and meticulous print laboratory whose work I trust implicitly and with whom I have been working for many years. After initial test print approval, each final print is scrutinised by me before being released.

Prices start at £395 for a 500mm x 400mm print, £550 framed under museum glass.
