Fancy a bit of a gawp into my photo-past? Like to see what I was up to back in the late-film, formative digital years? Well, you're in the right place. A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, before I was ever Old Captain Pastel-Pants the Sea-Tog, before I became the frequently fanciful, fairy-tale seaside snapper you may know today, I was routinely producing much darker photography. And looking at the archive, to be honest, there were times when this was no bad thing at all (though I say so myself!). I wonder if I shall ever re-animate and re-embrace this abandoned style again or if it was just a haunted era in my creative evolution that ran its course; a reflection of shadowy emotional times when life, the universe and everything were more daunting and uncertain...
